Lien Wildemeersch (1983) studied Germanic Languages in Kortrijk and Leuven, and also achieved a certificate in Philosophy and a diploma in education. She studied theatre from 2005 to 2009 in the Gent Conservatory, where she graduated with honours. She could be seen as an actress in training in performances such as Little Boy, Zand and Het geslacht Borgia. In june 2009 she graduated as an actress, among others with the performance Manson/Mensen, which was selected for the ITS Festival in Amsterdam. For the portrayal of her role, she received the Hans Kemna award for most promising acting talent.
Her first production in NTGent was Kasimir en Karoline (2008-2009). In late 2009, she joined the play Underground by Johan Simons. In spring 2010 she could be seen in a family play by HETPALEIS, De slag bij Dobor.
Since Season 2010-2011, Lien Wildemeersch is a member of the NTGent-ensemble, where she appeared in Aida, Children of the Sun and Ginds, tussen de netels. In 2011-2012, she adds De bittere tranen van Petra von Kant and Kleine Eyolf to her repertoire. In season 2011-2012, Lien could be seen in Ginds, tussen de netels, in De bittere tranen van Petra Von Kant and Kleine Eyolf. In 2012-2013 Candide, the reprisal of Children of the Sun and Platonov followed.
In 2013-2014 she will be playing in the reprisal of Platonov, and she will be cooperating in musical theatre performance Parsifal.
