Robert de Hoog (1988) has joined the ITA-ensemble in 2013.
De Hoog played at ITA in The cherry orchard, Kings of war, Husbands and wives, Small souls, The things that pass, Othello, The Fountainhead, Obsession, Blood Wedding, Mary Stuart and Liliom.
De Hoog was awarded a Golden Calf for his film debut in Skin, directed by Hanro Smitsman, which also got him nominated for an international Emmy Award for Best Actor. He stars in the 3D movie Nova Zembla (directed by Reinout Oerlemans), in which he appears together with the model Doutzen Kroes. He played his first English lead role in 2013 in the drama Love Eternal by the Irish director Brendan Muldowney and performed in films such as 170 Hz, Schemer, Steekspel by Paul Verhoeven, Black Out, De helleveeg and Catch.
