biography
Roeland Fernhout (1972) was a member of the ensmble of Toneelgroep Amsterdam from 1999 till 2015. He played many parts: Hedda Gabler, Ubu, All my Sons and Antonioni Project. He appeared in Angels in America, Othello, Scenes from a Marriage, Crusades, Roman Tragedies, Summer Trilogy, Ubu, Husbands, The Russians!, Macbeth, Long Day's Journey into Night, Cries and whispers, Queen Lear and Hamlet vs Hamlet (nomination Arlecchino).
Fernhout gained wide familiarity among the general audience through his role in the film Zusje [Little sister]. He played in television series such as Floor Faber, Annie MG and All Stars and presented RTL Travel. He previously performed at several other theatre companies such as Het Zuidelijk Toneel.
