Vanja Rukavina (1989) graduated from the acting course in Toneelacademie Maastricht in 2011, and was nominated for the Henriëtte Hustinx award for most excelling student in the very same year. Rukavina appeared in Disgrace (directed by Luk Perceval), Children of the sun, The taming of the shrew, Opening Night, The miser, The pelican, Queen Lear, Emilia Galotti and The hidden force.
Earlier Rukavina played in, among others, Kijken naar Julie by Huis van Bourgondië (directed by Bram Jansen), Puin van Theater (directed by Daria Bukvic), Plukt ons! (directed by Joachim Robbrecht), Het eenzame westen van het huis van Bourgondië (directed by Daria Bukvic), and De misantroop (directed by Antoine Uitdehaag) in Theaterproduktiehuis Zeelandia during the Nazomerfestival Zeeland. He also appeared on television, among others in the One night stand production Mijn Marko, by Sara Verweij, and in the series Van God Los (directed by Tim Olliehoek).
