Aus Greidanus jr. (1975) joined the ensemble in 2014. ‘After having worked with Johan Simons for almost ten years, I am now getting the opportunity to work with the other great theatre-maker of the Netherlands (although the Dutchman was working in Belgium, and the Belgian man is working in Holland). Even though their methods and characters appear to be complete opposites, they have both been leading theatre land and know how to align themselves to the best actors.’, says Aus.

In season 19|20 he will perform in the premieres of The homecoming (director Nanouk Leopold) and Children of Nora (director Robert Icke) and in the revivals of The wood, Death in Venice, Oedipus, Ibsen houseMedea and Kings of war.

Greidanus jr. played before at ITA in The Fountainhead, The things that pass, Othello, The hidden force, Husbands and wives, The kindly ones, Nora, La grande bouffe and Oresteia.

Aus Greidanus jr. has shone in the theatre for years. After his studies in the Toneelacademie Maastricht, he played for the Nationale Toneel, Zuidelijk Toneel Hollandia and NTGent (ao in Fort Europa, Richard III, Leenane Trilogy and Julius Caesar). He has been a member of Toneelroep De Appel, where he acts and directs, since 2010. Besides his work in theatre he has also acted in various films and television series, such as Pleidooi, De vloer op and Keyzer & De Boer Advocaten.
