Bart Slegers (1964) has joined the TA ensemble in season 12|13.

In season 18|19 he will perform in the premieres of The wood (director Michiel van Erp) and The cherry orchard (director Simon McBurney) and in the revivals of The things that pass, Ibsen house, Medea, Kings of war, The Fountainhead, Oedipus and Scenes from a marriage.

Slegers played before at TA in From the life of the marionettes, Roman Tragedies, The kindley ones, Opening Night, The taming of the shrew, The Seagull, Danton's Death, Nora and Children of the sun.

Slegers studied at the Royal Flemish Music Conservatory (Stage) in Antwerp where he received lessons from, among others, Dora van de Groen, Lucas Vandervost, Warre Borgmans, Luc Perceval and Ivo van Hove. He is mainly active in the theatre, but also played many roles in television series and cinema films. For ten years he was permanently attached to Het Zuidelijk Toneel (1990-2000), followed by time at theatre companies such as De Tijd, Het Paleis, Laika, Noord Nederlands Toneel, Theater van het Oosten and Nederlands Filharmonisch Orkest. From 2007 to 2012 he was a member of the Rotheater.
