biography
Ted Stoffer (1970 USA/BE), founder of Aphasia Dance company is a Brussels based choreographer, performer, and teacher. He is a recipient of a Jerwood Award for Young Choreographers and his critically, acclaimed production for Les Ballets C de la B, Aphasiadisiac, received the Argos critics prize at the Brighton Festival UK.
He has performed and taught around the world including: la Biennal di Venezia, Istanbul dans, Kalamata Dance Festival, la Biennale di Torino, ImpulsTanz, etc.,
Het jaar van de Kreeft is his fourth collaboration with Luk Perceval. (The others being: MacBeth, Kirschgarten, and Platanov.) He also collaborates regularly with the German directrice, Sandra Strunz.
